Condition
Overall in very good condition. The glass with a few minute air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. With evidence of some minor dark red spotting to the interior of the vase localized to the shoulder and base portions, which is inherent in the sprayed application of the iridescent surface treatment. The exterior and underbase of the vase with a few light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The interior with traces of very light surface soiling. The interior of the vase is intensely iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminous orange and gold tones complementing the deep green coloration of the leaf decoration and the delicate pale yellow of the millefiore blossoms. A highly artistic and beautifully rendered small-scaled vase skillfully executed in the sophisticated and challenging paperweight technique.
