Overall in very good condition. The glass with some scattered small and minor air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making. The interior with a few applied glass threads and one slightly larger particulate inclusion (1/4 inch in diameter), all inherent in the making. The exterior surfaces with some very fine and light surface scratches and rubbing consistent with age and gentle handling. The vase displays highly artistic and beautifully controlled decoration. The exterior is intensely iridized, imparting the vase with brilliant luminous jewel-tone hues. When viewed in person, the colors are slightly less saturated and less red than seen in the catalogue illustration.
