Overall in very good condition. The glass with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. With evidence of very subtle concentric tool marks to the interior of the mouth of the vase and to the spherical body inherent in the making. The exterior surfaces with some occasional light and minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The underbase with some evidence of light adhesive residue. The interior with traces of light surface soiling. The vase presents with delicate pulled feather decoration in warm tones of cream, dusty rose, pale orange and robin’s egg blue. The vase presents as slightly less saturated and less red than seen in the catalogue illustration. A superb example of one of the firm’s early forms displaying rhythmic and finely rendered decoration.
