Overall in very good condition. The glass with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The interior of the vase is iridized to give added depth and visual interest to the cameo carved decoration on the exterior. The exterior surfaces with some occasional light and minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The underbase with some evidence of light adhesive residue. The interior with traces of light surface soiling. The vase is distinguished by its deeply saturated garnet red glass which is heightened by the delicate cameo carving depicting sinuous leaves and blossoms in low relief. An elegant form with impressive scale, bold coloration and exquisite carving.
