Condition
The canvas has an old relining. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor retouching along the extreme framing edges addressing frame rubbing, and a couple of minimal spots in the upper left of the sky. This painting is in very good condition, clean, fresh, and ready to hang.Held in a substantial gilt frame, with foliate and floral motifs.The colours in the original are somewhat more vivid than in the catalogue illustration.
