Condition

This early, warm-toned print has a soft sheen to its surface, indicating that it was likely waxed or varnished by the photographer. There are a few creases in the image that are very difficult to discern, as well as in the margins and corners. In the upper and lower right corners of the margin are 2 tack-holes. On the reverse of the print, '4½ (Ha), 5+' and '38' are written in pencil. Also on the reverse are 4 small graphite lines at the center of each edge.
