Condition
This early, warm-toned print, is on double-weight matte-surface paper that is trimmed to the image. It is in generally good condition, particulary in light of its inclusion in a large and much-used publication archive. The edges are rubbed, with tiny losses at the periphery. The corners are bumped, and there are creases in the upper and lower right corners. There is also a crescent-shaped crease near the upper left edge. When examined in raking light, the creases are more apparent than they are when viewing the print under normal conditions. Also visible in raking light are what appear to be repair and in-painting near the left edge, and areas in the center right of the print where there appear to be transparent deposits of indeterminate nature. None of these issues detract from the overall attractive appearance of this print.
