Description

  • Stamps
full sheet margins, complete sheets less the lower right corner blocks of 4, fresh, full original gum. The 2s6d with a horizontal marginal crease developing into a split in the top margin and a 25mm tear in the lower margin clipping the outer frame-line of Position 37, both sensibly supported by light hinging; the 5s damaged at the upper left corner affecting Position 1. The damage to these sheets would appear to have happened when they were, at some time in the past, removed from a mount. AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE AND BEAUTIFUL SET.
