Condition
The painting is in relatively good state of preservation.
There are seven little lacks, visible on the image, in the upper right corner.
The painting was properly relined in the second half of the 20th century.
The painting is under a very thick and dirty varnish. There are some small worn places in the background and in the architecture. The flowers, the fruits and the characters are well preserved and still have a beautiful texture even if the right hand of the lady is slightly worn.
Under UV lamp:
The painting is under a green thick varnish. They are dots of restoration scattered in the background and some retouching in the petals of the peony at the top of the bouquet.
