The painting is in moderately satisfactory state of conservation. It has been recently relined, a bit too strongly, and also clean, too strongly also, this has sligthly damage the darker part. We can notice a network of cracks in the white fabric in the center of the composition. Painting is under a shinny varnish. Under UV lamp: We can notice some little dots of restoration in the brown background. There is a little restoration on the right leg of the angel in the foreground. There are some little dots of retouching on the face of the Virgen, one restoration of 1.5cm long in the white fabric on the right. Some spots of retouching in the face and in the back of the angel on the right.
