Under naked eye the painting appears in very good condition. It is dirty and needs cleaning

Catalogue Note
Charles Chaplin exposa La partie de loto (120 x 96 cm) au Salon de 1865 (conservé au musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen). Ce tableau connut un grand succès auprès de la critique et du public, et Chaplin en exécuta quelques répliques dont le tableau présenté ici.
