The painting is in overall good condition. It is painted on a canvas laid down on a panel made with one non cradle plank. There are two areas where the canvas has lifted away from the panel which has resulted as an uneven surface in these areas. This should be restored. The painting is under a very dirty uniform varnish. There are some little lacks in the upper right corner and along the upper edge. Under UV light: The painting is under a thick green uniform varnish. There are restoration along the upper edge and two little retouching in the body and the legs of the horse on the right. There are some small dots of retouching along the lower edge.
