Good condition for an object of this type, age, and material. Protruding arched element sagging slightly, possibly cracked inside. Marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions to wood elements. Losses to black textile as seen in catalogue photographs. Scattered small losses to cowries and beads. Raffia is dry and fragile.
