  • buffalo hide, porcupine quill, glass beads
composed of tanned buffalo hide, both sides sinew sewn on the head and butt in green, dark blue, greasy yellow and translucent red against a white glass beadwork ground, with hourglass motifs, the long tapering body decorated with narrow channels of red-dyed porcupine quillwork; trimmed with panels of cut hide fringe.

Condition

Very good overall condition with typical wear from age and light use. This includes minor bead loss in very small amounts and some fading to the quillwork.
