- silver, enamel
decorated with translucent and opaque stylised foliage on stippled grounds, the seat draped with a trompe l'oeil silver cloth with champlevé geometric border, the splat applied with an izba within a laurel wreath below a pierced arch, 84 standard
Condition
The lid, reverse of the splat and base very slightly mishapen. The areas of white cloisonné enamel throughout with restoration, and the pierced arch with failed restoration throughout, with one area of rounded tip of metal lacking, some of which is visible in the printed catalogue illustration.
