Description

of rounded rectangular form on four ball feet, the plain surface applied with arabesque shaped panels and columns of stylised foliate and geometric motifs, the hinged lid with swing handle, bracket clasp, 84 standard

Condition

Restoration to areas of the white enamel throughout, one of the applied mounts and one of the feet very slightly loose. One corner mount unscrewed (visible in the printed catalogue illustration), seperate but complete. Traces of transparent glue on the body around the feet brackets. The exterior gilding slightly worn but not down to the silver.
