square, the surface enamelled in translucent white over finely reeded engine-turning, the lid further engraved with ribbon-tied formal foliage within a dotted blue border and centred with a cabochon sapphire and rose-cut diamond-set star, cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, gilt interior, 88 standard

Condition

Excellent condition. The surface of the enamel with tiny, barely perceptible firing flaws. The blue border with two tiny surface abrasions. The lid is especially well engraved.
