painted on a gold ground, the Saviour shown half-length vested in blue and brown garments, holding a closed jewelled Gospel book in his left hand and making the blessing sign with his right hand 

Condition

A clearly visible crack running through the upper right corner, some minor damage to the gold ground, a small patch of gesso and paint missing along the lower border, overall very good condition
