centred by the Saviour shown full length, his hand extended in blessing towards Lazarus, depicted rising from his coffin at the entrance of a cave robed in his funeral garments, in the foreground the two sisters of Lazarus kneeling before Christ and a servant removing the lid of the coffin, behind the Saviour the twelve apostles led by St Peter

Condition

The background and border of the icon stripped to the levkas, some minor retouching to the painting, a thin vertical crack running through the lower border, some paint missing in the architectural background
