Provenance
Acquired in Riga directly from the artist by the father of the present owner before 1940.
Condition
The board is sound. There are chips of paint loss to the upper inner edge and the top right corner, possibly due to frame abrasion. There are a few spots of media staining. UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Some pigments fluoresce under UV. Held in a gold painted wooden frame with mouldings to the corners. Unexamined out of the frame.
