Condition
The artist's canvas board is providing an even and stable structural support. There is an old exhibition label on the reverse and the artist's board is inscribed on the reverse.The paint surface has an even varnish layer. Inspection under ultra-violet light shows one tiny spot of retouching within the sky just above the centre of the left vertical framing edge. The painting therefore appears to be in excellent and stable condition and no further work is required.
