Condition

Original canvas. There are two minor tears in the lower left corner, and small holes in all four corners where the canvas is held by the stretcher.There is another hole just below the red area lower right, with some corresponding paint loss. There is a small area of paint loss to the trunk of the birch and to the background between the tree and the hand of the woman in blue. There is craquelure and paint shrinkage in places. UV light reveals some scattered retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
