Condition

Original canvas. The surface is dirty and covered with a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is minor paint loss around the edges and in the lower right corner. There are fine lines of craquelure. Under UV no pigment appears to fluoresce but varnish prevents a conclusive analysis.
