- signed in Latin and dated 89 l.r., applied with embossed Imperial eagle and dated 9 Fevrier 1889 t.r.; further inscribed on the reverse
- watercolour over pencil heightened with gouache and gold paint on gilt-edged card

Condition
The card is in very good condition. There is scattered foxing throughout as well as some minor surface dirt. There is minor surface scratch in the lower right corner. The coat of arms of the Russian Empire has been glued down seperately. There are remains of adhesive along the edges on the reverse, as well as remains of hinging paper. The card is hinged to the mount in two places at the upper edge. Held in a moulded gold painted wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
