The complete portfolio, comprising 72 lithographs printed in colors, with text by Tristan Tzara, 1948-50, signed by artist and author in blue ink on the justification, numbered 68, from the total edition of 253, loose (as issued), on Malacca pure rag paper, published by Maeght, Paris, contained in the original paper cover, lithographed paper-covered boards and slipcase (72 prints)

Condition

The full sheets, in good condition. There is pale discoloration on the paper cover, pale mottled foxing and occasional minor surface soiling on the boards, the front board separating slightly at the spine at top and bottom. Several tears in the image on the slipcase front and back. The slipcase wrapped in protective glassine, not unwrapped for cataloguing.
