The catalogue raisonné of the artist's etchings and lithographs, the set of collotype plates reproducing 430 etchings, 5 additional plates (loose) and separate text by Edward Kennedy, 1910, from the edition of 400, published by The Grolier Club, New York, on Old Stratford paper, the volumes of collotypes and text in blue cloth-covered boards, spine and upper boards lettered in gilt; together with the set of photogravure and lithographic plates reproducing 163 lithographs (3 printed in colors), with text by Thomas Way, 1914, from the edition of 400 copies, published by Kennedy & Co., New York, on wove paper, contained in brown cloth-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt (8 volumes)

 



 

Condition

There are 6 volumes by Kennedy reproducing the etchings, and one volume which has separate text. There is one volume by Way with the reproductions of the lithographs contained within the boards. In generally good condition apart from a few tears at corners of collotypes (in Kennedy) (associated with being glued to support sheet at corners), pale paper discoloration at sheet edges (for the Kennedy volumes this appears on the supporting sheets, not affecting the image) and occasional creasing at sheet edges. A few short vertical tears at lower edges of the preliminary pages of Kennedy Vol. 1 and Way text volume. Paper cover of Way text volume with minor wear and tears at edges. Boards with minor surface soiling and rubbed extremeities.
