Etching, 1879-80, from the First Venice Set, a very fine atmospheric impression of Kennedy's fourth state (of five), printed with a veil of plate tone in the water and sky, signed in pencil with the large butterfly on the tab and inscribed 'imp', on thin laid paper, published by The Fine Art Society, London, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition apart from an occasional pale mottled fox mark (primarily in the upper half of the sheet). The verso with areas of pale, uneven discoloration at bottom. The print was exhibited in a Sotheby's exhibition frame, but is sold with a separate wooden frame.
