together with a French gilt-bronze cartel clock in Louis XVI style, circa 1890, the movement signed Le Nepre À Paris and numbered 3543 + 55 (43cm. high) and an Italian neo-classical carved giltwood wall light, modern (55cm. high), formerly fitted for electricity
Condition
The clock:
In overall good conserved condition. The movement is signed Nepren and not as stated in the catalogue. The gilt-bronze is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. The dial is also dirty and there are some minor chips around the winding holes and some discolouration between the dials 8 and 9. Attractive detail to casting. With a key.
Chenets:In overall good conserved condition. The colour of the gilding is slightly darker and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph.
