- gold, tortoiseshell, papier mache,
incorporating: a gold box, (4cm high, 29cm wide, 9cm diameter), a Japanese lacquered tortoiseshell dish (26cm diameter), early 20th century, two black and gilt pen trays, possibly by Jennings & Bettridger (26.5cm x 8cm, 27cm x 12.5cm), a chinoiserie black and gilt papier mâché plant holder with a lobed rim (15cm high, 17cm diameter), a black and gilt pen tray decorated with flowers with label J Jourdan, 19 Rue du Lycée, Grenoble, (25cm x 7cm), together with two round boxes and covers (7cm high, 6cm high), a Japanese lacquer circular box and cover decorated with gilt birds (5cm x 15cm), and one round and one oval Japanese lacquer box (7.5cm wide and 7cm diameter), a lacquered rectangular hinged box with figures with fans and a man pushing a rock, with compartments inside (3cm x 9cm x 6cm), and a lacquer box with hinged lid decorated with kittens (5cm x 9cm x 7cm)

Condition
There are some minor chips around the edge of the Japanese lacquer circular box the rest is in good condition.
