The catalogue illustrations are representative. The paint surfaces appear to all be in fair condition. All have scattered cosmetic retoucings, the largest of which can be seen in the right hand catalogue illustration, around the needle and extending down to the tree centre left. There are a few very minor old repaired paint losses between the set but there is no apparent structural damage. All have thick varnishes and surface dirt overall, which impedes exmainstion under ultrviolet. The set are offered in matching oval gilt wood and plaster frames in good overall condition.
