Condition

This early, warm-toned photograph is on heavy double-weight paper with a nearly matte surface. It is essentially in very good to excellent condition. Tiny light rust-colored deposits, possibly minor foxing, are barely perceptible in the sky area. The upper left edge is faintly discolored, and, on the reverse of the print, there are corresponding droplet deposits of indeterminate nature. Upon very close examination, a few small deposits of original retouching, some of which appear to have faded with age, are visible overall. The reverse of the print is soiled.
