Condition

This early, warm-toned photograph is on heavy double-weight paper with a nearly matte surface. It is essentially in very good to excellent condition. Scattered tiny deposits of original retouching are visible, primarily in the sky area. There is a a 1/2-inch soft crease in the upper right corner of the image, which appears to have been retouched. This print has very thin margins, and the margin corners are slightly soiled and bumped. The reverse of the print is appropriately age-darkened and there is faint evidence of foxing.
