Description

  • George Tice
  • 'PETIT'S MOBIL STATION, CHERRY HILL, N. J.'
  • gelatin silver print
selenium-toned, mounted, signed in pencil on the mount, titled, dated, and annotated in pencil on the reverse, framed, 1974, printed in 1980 (Urban Romantic, p. 121)

Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, scattered, light scratches along the left edge of the image and a few deposits of original retouching throughout the image are visible. The print is trimmed to the image, and there are barely-perceptible losses of emulsion to the upper and lower corners. The reverse of the mount is annotated 'PRINT: 6/27/80' in pencil. Also on the reverse, 'GALERIE/SELENIUM' is in pencil. The edges of the mount, particularly the reverse edges, are slightly bumped and creased. The reverse of the mount is very lightly soiled.
