These digital prints are in generally excellent condition. The color remains vibrant and saturated, with no apparent fading. Each print is stamped on the reverse with the following: title 'In Memory of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Comfort'; 'Printer's Proof'; episode (plate) number; all but one with a stamp describing what each model is wearing; and printing and copyright information, as below: 'A portfolio of twenty four photographs In a limited edition of sixteen plus two artist's proofs. No further prints will be made from this transparency except for the purpose of exhibition Printed in 1998. The original photograph may not be reproduced without prior written permission from the photographer. Copyright © 1995 Richard Avedon All rights reserved.' The maroon cloth clamshell box is in generally excellent condition. There is no wear onthe spine or cover.
