chaque manche à décor en haut relief de feuilles de lierre en émail vert sur un fond à croisillons terminant en un mascaron féminin ou masculin orné d'une coquille, contenant au revers une nymphe jouant d'un instrument de musique, le même décor sur le fourreau en galuchat avec un anneau de suspension, probablement XIXe siècle avec lame et dents antérieures
each tapering handle, chased in high relief with green enamelled ivy leaves on a diagonal ground terminating in male and female masks with shell head dresses containing on the reverse seated naked female nymphs playing musical instruments, the shagreen covered scabbard mounted at top and base with similar gold and enamel work, with pendant loop, probably 19th century with earlier blades and prongs
