Both have been tightly relined and surfaces have been a bit pressed as a result. detail and coloration, however, still remain good and paintings read well and present very decorative images. there is an old repair visible to naked eye on left side of vase with face. under UV light: scattered retouches can be seen on both pictures, mostly in the form of reinforcement of the darks. retouching to area on vase with face as mentioned above. also there is a larger area of retouching to bottom of the silver vase and some over the daffodils at top of same picture. there is retouching along both stone ledges at bottom. Offered in gilt wood frames with some nicks.
