Engraving with drypoint, circa 1485-88, a good impression of this rare and important subject, printing with delicate plate tone, on paper with a Basilisk watermark (cf. Martineau App. II, no. 1)

Condition

Trimmed unevenly within the subject, several repairs, backed with a thin sheet of japan paper, window-mounted onto a support sheet, recommend viewing before bidding, framed.
