Catalogue Note
Quattro Colori comprises four coloured squares, drawn from the same palette of 25 colours used in Richter's 4900 Colours: Version II, the subject of his exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery in 2008. Similarly to 4900 Colours: Version II, the colours for the pieces in this series have been selected at random, rendering the present work unique.
