Etchings with burnished aquatint, drypoint and engraving, 1816, title, list of contents and complete set of forty plates, good impressions, from the fifth edition of 1921, stamp-numbered 114 (from the edition of 200), printed in dark reddish-brown ink, published by Circulo de Bellas Artes of Madrid, on heavy laid paper with the blindstamp portrait of the artist, the title page with an engraved portrait of the artist by A. Lobo, in original canvas portfolio with the artist's name and title on the spine, and artist's name, title and publisher on the front
Condition
With wide margins, pale scattered foxing mainly in the margins, occasional minor handling creases at extreme edges of sheet, H. 205 with a nick at left edge, H. 206 with a rubbed spot at lower right corner of image, H. 215 with slight surface dirt and a light vertical indentation at upper centre part of sheet (only seen in raking light), H. 239-245 with a small pale water stain at upper left corners, otherwise in good condition.
The inner portfolio flaps with some tears and wear, the front of the portfolio cover with pale stains, other minor defects to the cover.
