Condition

The support consists of three horizontal panels which are uncradled. The lower join is supported by two butterfly inserts towards the left margin. The paint surface is largely in very good condition, though there is some wear and resultant restoration to the two figures and to the floor and steps surrounding them. There is a crack just above the centre of the composition of circa 15cm. in length and a few minor retouchings to the background.
