  • with centred husk sight, bead-&-reel; bellflower rail, ribbon back; frieze with undulating foliage in punchwork (applied later)

Condition

There are thin modern baton supports tacked onto the inside edges verso. The frame appears structurally sound and is otherwise in great overall condition with gilding intact. There are two very minor pin holes visible only upon close inspection in the punchwork in the upper right. There is also a minor diagonal surface scratch in the punchwork measuring 2 in. in the vertical edge lower right and a minor abrasion to the corner join directly below. There is also a very minor vertical crack in the punchwork on the horizontal edge of the lower left hand corner. Otherwise the frame is in good overall condition.
