  • with ribbon sight; continuous foliate strapwork and shells; gadrooned rail; cabochon back; later oil gilding

Condition

The frame is structurally sound except for evidence of old dislocation at the corner joins. There are very minor losses to the later oil gilding, most noticeable around the very outer edges. There is also a minor loss measuring approx. 1 in. to the inner slip along the upper most edge, upper left as can be seen in the catalogue illustration.
