Description

  • Portrait of a girl feeding a deer

Condition

The painting is slightly lighter in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The picture appears to be in good condition with no extant damage or loss of paint. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some minor flecks of retouching in the background, upper and centre left, and there is an opaque varnish overall. Held in a carved and gilded wooden frame.
