Condition

This painting is in original, unlined condition. The canvas has slackened somewhat in the upper right. There is fine craquelure overall. The surface is somewhat dirty and the varnish has yellowed. There is a small area of pigment separation in the upper left. The Ackermann label is adhered to the verso of the canvas and there is also a copyright stamp. Under UV, there are no apparent inpaints visible, though there are splatters of discoloration in the lower right quadrant. It is essentially untouched, and would benefit enormously from basic conservation.
