Oil on canvas, lined. The picture surface is somewhat flattened and mildly abraded from cleaning in areas but in generally good condition. There is a stable web of craquelure, especially apparent in the upper right quadrant and some additional areas of craquelure in the more thickly painted whites. Under UV light, the varnish has been selectively cleaned. There are spots of inpaint visible along the lower edge and the red pigments are still active.
