Condition

Kathleen: Oil on canvas, lined. Some very minor frame abrasions at the extreme edges. There is some thinness in the sky at upper center but the picture surface is clean and bright. Barely visible very fine craquelure. Under UV light, there is a streaky varnish. Spots of inpainting scattered near the right edge; dots and dashes scattered below the horse; an area in the center of the horse's back and a small area in his stomach. A few additional small scattered spots. Irish Freize: Oil on canvas, lined. The picture surface is clean and bright. Very fine craquelure across the surface. Under UV, scattered dots and dashes of inpaint in the upper right corner; in the lower right corner above the signature; directly above the horse's head; and some small dashes scattered in the horse's neck, front legs and hindquarters.
