Condition
Oil on canvas on cradled double panel. Old dirty yellow varnish. Surface dirt and dust. The surface is flat. Seams or other disturbances from lying the canvas down are evident across the top edge of the work and scattered along the left edge and in the lower right corner. Five inch long vertical line of craquelure and potential lifting below the sitter's rosette. Under UV light, newer inpainting along the edges and in the upper left corner. Potential older dashes and dots of repaint scattered across the surface.
