Condition

Oil on canvas, lined with a wax lining. The picture surface is flattened with a stable, widely and finely patterned web of craquelure. Under UV light, there are small scattered areas of inpainting visible across the background of the work, especially the upper background. There are lines and dots of inpaint to address craquelure in the sitter's face and hands as well as small areas of inpaint in her cheeks and the shadows of her dress.
