Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. There are two patches visible on the verso which correspond to the area above the peacock's back. Apparent craquelure overall. A few areas with very minor cupping, most noticeable in the sky. Two spots of obvious reprint center right edge as well as in the area of the aforementioned patches. Good paint retention and an old dirty varnish. Under UV, the painting has been selectively cleaned. Repaint in the craquelure in the sky. Other minor areas of repaint and selective cleaning.
