Condition
Moses Striking the Rock: The canvas is lined. The surface is in generally good condition aside from some pressed craquelure; scattered pinpoint losses; slight abrasions and somewhat dirty varnish. Inspection under UV reveals that most of the sky has been retouched, and there are large areas of inpainting in the figures and landscape.
The Drunkenness of Noah: The canvas is lined. The surface has apparent craquelure, a dirty vanish that appears to have darkened slightly over time; and scattered losses upper right corner and bottom edge. Inspection under UV reveals that most of the sky has been retouched, and there are large areas in inpainting in the figures and in the tree on the right.
Both works are offered unframed.
